New Everything

Project Narrative:

The original structure was built in 1925.  The design for the renovation of this house was guided by the principles of feng-shui design and the owner’s desire to keep the character of the exterior while creating an open floor plan and great room with vaulted ceilings and contemporary furnishings.  As shown on HGTV’s Curb Appeal.

Before

Special Feature:

The new vaulted ceiling presented an unique opportunity to incorporate a hood over the new cook-top and island.  The solution of a stainless steel “telescoping” shroud not only was a permanent sculptural element but also complimented the modern furniture. .
