The goal of the new deck was to blend with the surrounding landscape as much as possible and give the owner the feeling that they were living in the tree canopy.  To do so, we used 20 foot long pressure treated poles which have a color similar to the trunks of the old oak trees that surround the residence and constructed the deck with redwood that will be left to weather naturally eventually turning to a light grey.
