Project Narrative:
The existing residence sits on a shelf carved out of a steep hillside located approximately halfway to the summit. It is accessed via a long and narrow driveway that meanders up the steep hill terminating in a rather narrow turn-around area adjacent to the attached garage/house. The goal of the project was to not only provide a larger turn-around area that could accommodate fire engine equipment but also to provide access to a proposed deck overlooking the view of the valley. Included in the redesign of the area is the relocation of an existing concrete septic tank with a new fiberglass tank and the relocation of an existing propane tank enclosure. |

Special Feature:
The colors of the veneer stone and the redwood trellis harmonized nicely with the Sonoma hills in the background. |
