Project Narrative:
The original kitchen had a typical track-house feel with dark cabinets, sheet vinyl flooring and a floor plan that cut it off from the rest of the house. The goal was to open up the space without losing cabinet storage and enhance the flow of the space by changing the location of the appliances. |
|
Special Feature:
The new kitchen incorporated new stainless steel appliances, a new island with cabinets on 3-sides, and; a curved ceiling above that not only broke up the monotony of the original flat ceiling but also gave the space more verticality. Lights were added to the soffit at the curved ceiling as well which makes the space glow. |
